thai or malay?
whew... cny's over... this year i understood the joy of helping out at home. i mean i've helped out at home before for cny but never like this year's. i took two and days worth of leave to help at home... burned two weekends to help make our home spick and span and ready to usher in the new year and have relatives over.
with all that's been happening at home with my parents not being very well and all, i'm glad i finally had the sense to be more dutiful at home. but boy was i tired. plus my left hand's middle finger had its nail snapped back and it broke! think nails were brittle from all the scrubbing and washing of tiles etc... so it was byebye hopes of getting a french manicure. oh well... it hurt really badly tho... but i'm glad after two days i was able to help with the dishes etc again.
no wonder the bible says, when one part of the body hurts, the whole body hurts... it's true... just a teeny weeny bit of flesh being exposed and i felt such pain! i guess, that's how the church ought to be... to be there for one another and to love one another and look at everyone as part of one body and not as different ministries or even churches...
well, i thank God that the weekend's here... this week was a lil topsy turvy cos i kept thinking wed was mon, or i'd think it was thu cos it was chu si. and today i was like, it's fri??? heehee...
was reading some of my previous posts and i realised i still haven't decided whether to pick up thai or malay... any suggestions anyone? or know of anywhere i can learn either of the languages?
