badminton again!

played badminton with my church mates again today. aiyo! so jialat! i haven't played since end august so i'm like =P!!!!!! lol....

but it was good fun... going again next week. missed hanging out with them and having a good laugh at funny shots. only problem is i cramp real easy when i play... sigh.. been having this problem for several months now. hope it isn't anything but a lack of sufficient warming up tho today i made sure i had a round of proper stretching... at this rate i'll probably need to stretch for half an hour! and drink a litre of h-2-o... at least i think that's what it's called...

suddenly can't remember the name of that drink. just had a nice relaxing bath and feel all clean again. but it was a good workout tho i pengsan-ed like after a mere hour. lol...

alrightey, xiang's done with his bath too.. mum mum time! yumyum! =)

surprise surprise surprise

this year has been a year of surprise gifts and parties for me... as in organised by moi! the latest one was the most elaborate one thus far. i realise i'm someone who likes to better myself in the things i do... the recent party which i organised took place just on sat... plans were in the works about more than a month ago... lol...

anyway, it went well and i really thank God for it. so many things could have gone wrong, but it didn't... an additional surprise of having her family appear at the party worked out. the friends involved were all a great help...

xiang for going shopping with me tho u had no idea what was running thru my mind as i kept looking for things to speak to me. thanks for preparing all the sushi stuff and even raising the idea of having sushi in the first place. it was a smashing idea and i think everyone enjoyed it...

ling for coming so early to help. the card was beautiful! =)

huifen for helping wrap the presents so prettily! and for appearing in the decoy video and for coming early

mervin for coming early to help and for going with xiang to buy all the stuff at meidiya despite being ill... for NOT hiding behind any couch with pple u aren't supposed to hide with! lol

qing for suggesting to use the worship practice time as the party time and for trying so hard to reach eliza's family... =) and you took great photos and videos of the party... =)

daffy for baking the cake and coming on time as planned...

yeah... it was a good party... lotsa laughter and good food... we were all so stuffed by the end... =) but it was rather grand for a surprise party... so i think i shall take a year's hiatus from surprise parties... brain juices all used up liao!
