soya bean
it was like a soya bean.
albeit a very red one.
u see, i had a tumor/growth removed from my thigh this afternoon. now it's being sent for testing. the doc does say that this kinda tumor isn't cancerous but since we were removing it, best to send it for tests.
so two surgeries in a pretty short span of time.
just had a cyst removed from my mouth a coupla months back, and as i sat in the dentist's chair i thought, hmm... my first surgery, i ought to be freaked out a little. but i wasn't. think God gave me peace. =)
today as i lay on the table looking at the cold and white room, it occurred to me that i never asked how it was going to be done. so i just lay there. the injections were of course more painful than the incision (as it should be) but could feel the knife/blade whatever she was using, stopped myself from looking and it did hurt. it was like something was getting dug out. so cut cut here and cut cut there... then ta-da! out came a very bloody but rather huge bean-like object. i was quite shocked to see that it was pretty big. then it was the stitching. i saw the thread that was supposed to be used and boy was it odd to know i was getting sewn together. or rather, the probably gaping bleeding hole in my thigh. lol... so now i've got blue knots in a row on my leg. not that i can see it. it's under some huge plaster now.. ok not that huge but it's those nice water-resistant sorts.
so that's the story of the soya bean. now sitting in a plastic bottle.
